Sweet Melanie's Mini Christmas Home Tour

Debbie from Debbiedoos has asked for a mini home tour...I am so very blessed to have met her on Rate My Space many years ago through HGTV.  She has been such an inspirational person and has helped me with my blog.  What would I have ever done without her and the many times on the phone walking me through each step....Thanks Debbie!!!

So, here we go!

Welcome to our home for Chistmas in the mountains of West Virginia

Come on in....

One of our trees...done in whites, silvers and pale pinks.

Our eat in kitchen is lively with lots of baking and laughter for the holidays...not a dull moment in this home.

All ready for the girls and their cookie decorating...

Our two girls....the best presents we could ever have!

One of our fireplace mantles....

The "little girls" room...

I made jar lights last year from some old jars that are truly vintage...my "Mammaw" had them when I was a little girl.  I am now 42....so there is the vintage for ya!

This is the back room all ready for Christmas presents for family members that we travel too.  It's nice to have them seperated.

And our master...

I hope you've enjoyed a little bit of our home for Christmas....  I'll be posting each room in the weeks to come.

~Merry Christmas ~

  4. What a lovely lovely tour! And you are already for Christmas! My house is in the biggest stage of "mess before beauty" as I am trying to get my decorating done.

I love those lighted topiaries you have by the pictures of your pretty girls. Would love to find some for my entry way.

  5. Very pretty, but there is definately no romping boys and dogs in this pretty house, my Labby would run down the trees and the Jack Russel cross Daxi would play with all the Christmas baubles, can't wait to see the rest of the house, o soooo pretty, would love to have a place like this but not with my men and dogs!!

  13. Hi Melanie: I am a new follower. I met you on Debbie-doos Home Tour and since I have started blogging I am in awe of anyone who decorates with white. You are no exception. It is all beautiful and I look forward to seeing more. I started out with color many years ago and am so invested I am unable to change, but I so admire anyone who does. I would like to invite you to stop by the Cottage. You will be most welcome..Happy Tuesday..Judy

  16. Melanie, your house is absolutely beautiful. Can you share how you got those pretty lights in your old jar in the bathroom and what else you have in there. I love it and have a couple of very old jars from my gram that I would love to do that way.

    1. Anna, I just stuffed the lights down in there along with Christmas ornaments and fake snow for the added extra sparkle. The cord comes out from the top because I couldn't find my glass drill bit. I hope you get to do them because they are so nice and pretty...plus mine are sentimental! Thanks for stopping by!
